Bold maneuver, setting out in the sub.
Here are three to get you started:
-Pony of your choice enjoying a beach party
-Pinkie decked out in full pool/beach gear (floaty ring, flippers, diving mask, bag with beach towels and snacks)
-your mom, as a pony.

No.17429
>>17428Neat, thank you. Hopefully you get a bit more foot traffic.
No.17431
>>17430Fair. I suppose I could have just had her on the beach excitedly waiting for you to join her in her big day of summer fun (that you're coming on whether you want to or not) but I'll keep that in mind for next time.
shame about the parents thing. Hopefully I didn't prod a nerve. No.17434

I'm still willing to take requests by the way. Ask whenever you want. Even if anyone sees this after 5 years, go ahead, you can try.
No.17489
>>17488Oh so you did find the time to draw the ones you wanted. That's good.
As for requests, since christmas is coming up, how about Pinkie in a santa costume, with her sisters as elves?
No.17491
>>17490that is a nice dress horse, thank you
No.17492
>>17491But it wasn't a delivery, I just drew it spontaneously.

and I see you added a couple extra little details as well. Nice job
No.17575
>>17574well, there is only so detailed you can make the sky.
are the things in the back planes or pegasuses, considering either could be flying around? I assumed one of each.
No.17576
>>17575That's supposed to be Star Wars planes, and that Pinkie is a Rebellion pilot.
No.17578
>>17577I'm also bad at details so I had to crop a large portion of it to make it look less empty. I hope at least my colours are decent enough.
No.17579
>>17578Colors are fine, don't worry about that. Having trouble with fine details might just be a limitation of using a more "paintbrush" kind of brush if you're not working in absolutely massive canvas sizes.
No.17580
>>17579Yeah, I suppose it is. But I can't draw any other way anymore. Well, I can make it look sketchier and then even put them in motion. Recently, I began trying storyboarding. And it's Pinkie again. I swear I'm not a ponkfag, but I really like drawing her. Check it out.
Also, thinking about refining my old artwork and post it here. Some of them are far better than everything I posted here so far. So maybe that way I'll relearn how to use layers.
No.17581
>>17580ponk is a good pony who is fun to draw
and that's cute anon.
I'm sure you'll knock the rust off your layering. The trick will be remembering which layer you're on.
No.17583
>>17582those are some sparkly eyes
it's a really nice picture and the only piece of constructive criticism I feel I can offer is that you could have put a bit more of a line/shading on the snoot so it doesn't blend into her far cheek.
Shame you lost the file.
No.17584
>>17583I think that was one of the reasons why I stopped using layers. Files in my hard drive kept getting corrupted. With only one layer, I can just send it somewhere online and retake it if something goes wrong.
No.17585
>>17584Not a bad idea, but with how cheap storage is these days having a backup drive probably wouldn't hurt.
No.17589
>>17588nice marshmallow horse.
Still think it's neat that you're going for the paint-on-canvas sort of brushwork.
No.17590
>>17589And I'm still doing it wrong. Some people emulate real paintings wonderfully, and I have no idea how can I achieve it.
No.17591
>>17590somewhere between autistic brush settings and trial-and-error I'd wager. Have you tried a draw-along with a Bob Ross episode? Not sure it'll do anything but it might be neat to see how it goes.
