I have plans! I have motivation!

I am going through the config files for the site line by line noticing fuck ups and outdated settings that must have just piled on over the years. I am re doing them from scratch. Hoping to fix some things around here. Same for the template files.

After that is finished, tested, and deployed we will be moving away from cloud flare and the main site is going https.

As for the quest archive I am going to make the stuff that is not on it yet available for download. It is going to be just the raw unmodified html with images. But at least it will be something till I get that beast sorted out.

One of the Vaults was run by an AI
But, due to an accident, the water filtration was damaged and slowly started to decay
It realized that it could no longer provide enough clean water for the entire population, so to preserve the population, it started culling it starting with the weak and less useful, so it could produce enough clean water for the rest to survive.
As the water filter decayed more and more though, it had to cull the people who lived there more and more, and by the end it has killed everyone in the vault so it could 'preserve their lives'

They got to walk behind me in recess and pushed people out of the way so I could go wherever and they obviously didn't let anyone start or pick a fight with me. It was great.
Then after two weeks they asked me when are they getting paid and I told them that their payment was the privilige to be my bodyguards.

For my wizards and sorcerers: I've decided to set the quest in an early 1700's fantasy version of Earth. Think something like the Harry Potter world, but without the secrecy around the magic world. Or think something like the PoTC world. Or the LWA world. That Fantasy on Earth kind of hybrid.

Since it's an international school not bound to any sort of nation, your characters can really be from anywhere in the world. I'd like to reiterate again though that since this school is sort of infamous in the magic community, it's mostly just social rejects that attend it. The school has no tuition fees, but also only really invites people who possess a lot of raw magical talent.

Basics of the story is that Humans are the new kids on the galactic block. An organization bought these a decommissioned warship to head towards a new high-gravity world they can colonize. A bunch of aliens have signed up to work with them for their own reason, usually economic but also to go in the same general direction they are, since space travel is still on the expensive side.

Humans get the giant robot for free, but need to be more mercenary oriented if they want the combat ones.

>Den Fujita retired in 2003 and died of heart failure in April of 2004 at the age of 78, two days after McDonald’s then-CEO Jim Cantalupo died of a sudden heart attack at the age of 60. It is unknown whether McDonald’s food played a contributing factor in their deaths.

Probably not, 78 is a good length of time for the average Japanese from what I understand.

So do I. It's just that opportunities are so few, and the backlash so grating.
Though I suppose that since Starbound has decided to just die on me, I'll maybe start using some of that time to draw more if I can.

More and more tempted to just use the Fallout system, but I'll probably be stealing the weapons and range system.

You think there's any way to mix the S10 spells with Fallout?

Why does deer allow its raccoon tail to sing obnoxiously while it studies?

 No.834493

>>834491
I think so. The main thing of value from Fallout is the Range and weapon system, so my thoughts were to basically take the weapon tags from Fallout and allow people to build their own weapons for their character- within reason, of course.
The spells could be tweaked to take the different ranges into effect- Marksman Shot assisting with long-range shots, for instance.

Of course, it might not pan out, but it's worth a shot.

Yeah, that should work. I can even excuse the weapons being bad as those being the ones allowed to Civilian operations.

>>834494
Not so much 'Magic' as 'Radical New Technology'. It's mostly going to be used to allow/explain certain abilities.
